The European Tang Soo Do Federation (ETSDF)
The European Tang Soo Do Federation teaches one of the oldest and most respected martial arts—Tang Soo Do. This traditional Korean martial art is rooted in the ancient Korean kicking style of Tae Kyun and incorporates soft, flowing movements from Chinese martial arts systems. While Tang Soo Do maintains the discipline and rituals of a traditional martial art, it also equips students with effective modern self-defense techniques and capabilities.
Led by Grandmaster Suresh Nar, 8th Dan Master, the ETSDF is part of the larger global organization, the International Martial Arts Association (IMA). The IMA is dedicated to spreading the art and values of Tang Soo Do across the world.
The European Tang Soo Do Federation currently operates clubs in England, Scotland, Ireland, Malta, Italy and Finland. Tang Soo Do is a semi-contact martial art suitable for children and adults aged 6 and above. Our clubs welcome both beginners and experienced practitioners, offering a friendly and supportive environment for all.
